What is Artwork?

Artwork is the graphic that will be printed on to your roller banner.

To print your banner we need your artwork.

A standard artwork charge is applicable if artwork is not supplied ready to print directly onto your banner. Our artwork charge is £40 per hour (exc VAT).

How Do I Send You My Artwork?

By CD/DVD

By FTP

FTP stands for File Transfer Protocol. In order to make use of this facility you need a PC with an Internet connection and FTP software installed. FTP allows you to drop files directly onto our file server. If you don't have any FTP software.

Contact us for our username, password and FTP address.

By Email

You can attach artwork and email team@ultimatebanners.co.uk

The maximum file size we can receive in one email is 15MB

How Do I Format My Artwork?

In order to get the best possible quality finish for your banner there are a few guidelines to follow when creating your artwork. Please call us if you have any queries, we're here to help.

  1. Save Colours CorrectlySave your artwork to CMYK colour format.
  2. Document Sizes & Resolutions Save artwork at the correct resolution relative to it's size:
    100% size at 150dpi
    50% size at 300dpi
    25% size at 600dpi
  3. FontsInclude or embed font when sending your artwork.
  4. ScansYour scans should be high resolution and saved as CMYK colour.
    We can accept original photographs, negatives, transparencies or 35mm slides if you would like us to print directly from your hard copy.
