Media Backdrop Banners

The popularity of banner stands has continually gained momentum over the last 10 or so years – and there’s no sign of a slow down on the horizon. In part, this is due to the fact that they offer great value for money in terms of the advertising area that your investment buys. Of course there are other great benefits such as their portability and flexibility, but I can’t think of many other advertising mediums that provide such high impact for a minimal outlay.

Of course this cost benefit only improves as the size of the banner stand increases. Recognising this, manufacturers have taken advantage in recent years, by offering a more diverse range of sizes and in particular a large amount of “oversized” banner stands.

One example of this new wave of extra-large roller banners is the media backdrop banner. They commonly measure 2 metres high by 2.4 metres wide, yet just like smaller pull up banners, they pack down into a carry bag which is easily managed by one person.

You’ve probably unwittingly seen these banner displays while watching sportsmen or politicians on television. The banner surface is commonly printed with a sponsor’s logo and, as the name suggests, the stand is used as a backdrop for post-match interviews with sports stars and team managers.

In a similar manner politicians and company CEOs use them as a means of providing strong branding during interview and photo opportunities as their portability allows them to be set up anywhere, thus instantly providing a professional and presentable backdrop.

But don’t let the name limit you in the uses you can think of for these large banner stands. They are also great performers at tradeshows, exhibitions, in shop windows… The possibilities are up to you.
