Using Promotional Merchandise as a Form of Advertising

The main source's of advertisement are television, radio, newspapers and bill boards. These are all great forms of advertising but can be quite costly when it comes to promoting products on a frequent basis. Using merchandise to promote your business and products is becoming more popular as other businesses are realising that its a cost effective way of promoting your products and services on a large scale without it costing too much.

When using merchandise to advertise depending on your budget you can advertise on nearly anything you want. For instance if you have a lower budget you could invest in pens and key rings and then use them as a form of advertising by having your company's details printed onto them. If your business has a larger budget you could use mouse mats, ceramic mugs or even clothing to promote your business.

Using merchandise for promotion means that the public wont just see it for the next two weeks but for however long they continue to use it for. If your company decides to use pens as a form of advertising, often pens are misplaced and left various places, which means that without even knowing your pens are being looked at by numerous other people. Merchandise is a great, affordable way of advertising on a larger scale.
