Airports offer unique opportunities to advertise. A study conducted in 2007 showed that three quarters of passengers who travel on commercial flights are frequent flyer's and have large household incomes. This means that advertising at airports will have great results as the passengers that keep coming back will take notice of the advert and hopefully invest in the products that are being advertised continually. Once passengers are in the airport they end up having to hang around until their flight is due for departure, which gives them even more time to if not invest in the products to at least have a look.

Not only can you advertise in the airport but advertising on the actual aeroplane is a great opportunity to promote your products. This gives company's the chance to maybe give samples out of products, whether it be perfume or chocolates, the public always like a freebie and will take notice of what they have just been given free of charge. Even by giving small free samples will pay of as the public who did actually like the product will invest in it.
