Vinyl Banners
Vinyl banners advertising
Vinyl banners are a great way of promoting your business on a large scale. This is mainly because of the size of the banner. As they are one of the larger sized banners this acts as an advantage when it comes to deciding where to put your banner
These banners are made from tough, tear resistant vinyl and are seemed all the way round to add a little more protection against the rain and wind. As the banners are weather resistant more businesses choose to put them outside. They can be attached to buildings, wooden surfaces or just held up by using string/rope. The great factor about vinyl banners is that even though they are mainly used outside because the images are digitally printed on they last for years are the prints still look great.
Vinyl banners are also appropriate for use at exhibitions and trade fair shows. They are very flexible so makes it easy to transport around and if for instance you have a booth at an exhibition vinyl banners make a great back drop, which would increase the attention from potential customers.
Often retail shops or fast food chains use vinyl banners to advertise up and coming promotions and offers. This is a great way of telling the customers of whats to come, often resulting with them coming back when the promotion starts.

Bright Roller Banners
Announcing marketing messages with roller banners needs to be done correctly
Roller banners are one of the most common forms of advertising that is used by businesses. They are designed in such a way that they are easily transportable, light weight and don't take more than five minutes to put them together and dismantle them.
As roller banners offer portability, this means that they are not big heavy pieces of equipment to carry around with. Once they have been taken apart which takes no more than a few minutes they can be put back into their carry case and transported around. This allows businesses to use the same display stands on more than one occasion.
The banners are designed in such a way to grab the attention of potential customers that they use bright colours and graphics. This helps in situations like at a trade fair show or an exhibition as there will be other businesses with display stands, so you have to make sure you get the balance right with text and images to make it stand out from the rest.

Paper Price Hike
Pulp costs increase and paper costs increase in 2010
Sappi Fine Paper Europe has announced that it is putting up its prices as of the 1st July in all |European and overseas markets. They claim that the last increase “barely compensated for the extraordinary increase in pulp costs.
The price will increase on its flexible packaging, label and release liner papers and boards by 6%. Only in April they raised the price of its coated fine papers by 10% and they did say they would stagger the increases for its mechanical coated papers across the next few months.
The director of Sappi Fine Paper Europe, Gregory Gettinger said “Our first price rise has barely compensated for the extraordinary increase in pulp costs due to the severe pulp shortage resulting from the earthquake in Chile.” He finished by stating that the last price increase was “unavoidable.”
Even though the price increase is industry wide here at Ultimate Banners we are trying to resist passing these price increases on to our customers, which would mean more value for money.
