Stop light material “stops light” from penetrating it. Light penetration on public display material causes silhouettes which interfere with graphic presentation and can result in lines and unusual patterns appearing on advertisements. Stop light is a superior roller banners material, it's strong, scratch resistant, better quality and creates a bright and smart finish when printed.
Most of Ultimate Banners roller banners are printed on 260 mic coated polyester stoplight material with the highest weight to bulk ratio, making the material anti curl and more rigid.
Many banner materials are available for printed roller banners. We can cater for a range of customer material requirements. Matt or gloss banner material is available in a range of sizes: 200mic – 400mic. Customers may specify the type of banner material they would like us to print on. Turnaround times will be subject to media availability.
Slim material is prone to curl and give a weaker graphic presentation. Thicker material doesn't curl at the edges and creates a flat and uniform graphic wall – bolder graphics. Thicker material is more expensive because there's more mm3 of material per square area.
